Bikes Online Launches in the US
Press Release: Polygon Bikes
Australia’s largest consumer-direct bicycle retailer, Bicycles Online has launched into the North American market as BikesOnline.com, in exclusive partnership with us at Polygon.
Based out of Sonoma County, CA, with warehousing in Los Angeles, BikesOnline.com is carrying our bike range as well as accessories and clothing. Similar to their Australian business, on BikesOnline.com there is a free 14-day returns program on all bikes and free shipping to the lower 48 states on all orders over $50.
“
By cutting out the middle-man and selling direct to consumer we can pass on the savings to our customers, where they belong. Our business model allows customers to save up to 40% compared to an equivalent bike from a chain store.
— BikesOnline.com Managing Director Jonathon Allara
“
Purchasing a bicycle online today has reached a point whereby it can be an easier and better experience than buying from a store... (At) the Bikes Online website, we are able to provide all the information you need ... specifications, competitor comparisons, ... (and) reviews. All of our bikes ... are pre-tuned by our mechanics before being shipped ... to your door.
— BikesOnline.com Managing Director Jonathon Allara
We at Polygon Bikes own one of the largest and most innovative manufacturing facilities in the world, which is located in Indonesia - producing bikes not just for the Polygon brand, but also for other top tier US and European bike brands.
“
For several years we have been working together with the team from Bicycles Online in Australia to grow the Polygon brand and market share. We believe that with their extensive bike knowledge combined with after sales support, fast warranty support and local knowledge provides an ideal partner for the brand.
