This is my first better quality bike. I feel the difference already. Nice,solid bike
Solid upgrade platform
I bought the D5 for two reasons: I wanted a full suspension on a budget and I wanted a bike that could use all the upgrade parts I had previously added to my old hardtail (1x drivetrain, dropper post, air fork). Therefore, I can't really comment on the bike's stock form since I added these upgrades out of the box. What I can say is that the Siskiu D5 shines in the areas you can't upgrade easily - geometry and ride feel. It is an efficient climber (even with the stock rear shock - haven't upgraded it yet). And it feels stable and planted on downhill technical stuff and flowy berm trails. The low price point comes through in that it is a little heavier than what other folks I ride with are on (but they spent literally 4-5 times as much) and the quick-release wheels. But it doesn't hold you back from riding anything and having fun!
